Summary

SOSS (Save Our Squad Signal) is built for emergencies in crowds. We collect only what the app needs to work on your device. We do not sell your data.

Data stored on your device

• Your name and squad emergency contact (optional, stored locally)
• App settings (flash speed, sounds, hold duration, SMS consent)

Location

If enabled, SOSS reads GPS only when you activate a signal or prepare a squad alert. Location is included in messages you choose to send. No background tracking.

Camera / flashlight

Flashlight only during an active signal. No photos or video are captured.

SMS

Squad alerts open your messaging app with a pre-written message. You must tap Send. SOSS does not send SMS without your action.

Analytics

No third-party analytics or advertising in the current beta.
